Direct Cremation Package
MEMBERS: $1,795 - NON-MEMBERS: $1,995
Our direct cremation plans are designed to provide simple, dignified care with transparent pricing and no unnecessary expenses.
Every plan includes:
- Professional services of our licensed funeral staff
- Transfer of your loved one into our care from a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility
- Refrigeration and sheltering of your loved one
- All necessary authorizations and paperwork
- Cremation process and crematory fee
- Vermont burial permit
- A simple alternative cremation container included at no additional charge
- Availability 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Additional services available upon request
- Payment is required upon transfer of your loved one.

A dignified and affordable tribute for those who proudly served our nation. This package includes all services provided in our direct cremation package, along with additional options designed to honor your loved one’s military service and legacy.

- All services included in our direct cremation package
- Bronze veteran urn with branch of service insignia
- Assistance arranging interment at a veterans cemetery or other cemetery
- Coordination of military honors and veteran tribute services
Private Viewing Package
MEMBERS: $2,295 | NON-MEMBERS: $2,495
This package provides immediate family members with the opportunity to gather privately and say a final goodbye to their loved one prior to cremation. Designed for families who desire a more personal farewell, this offering combines the simplicity of direct cremation with the comfort of a private viewing experience.

- All services included in our direct cremation package
- Private family viewing prior to cremation
- Upgraded cremation container
- Floral spray for the viewing setting
Church or Chapel Memorial Service
MEMBERS: $2,795 | NON-MEMBERS: $2,995
For families who wish to combine cremation with a meaningful memorial gathering, this package provides the opportunity to honor and celebrate a loved one’s life in a church or chapel setting with family and friends.
Included in this package:
- All services included in our direct cremation package
- Cremation urn
- Use of facilities, equipment, and staff for a memorial service in our chapel or a church
- Memorial package materials
- Professional arrangement and coordination services
*all pricing subject to a 3.5% processing fee when paying with a credit card
Disposition Options
Return of Cremated Remains
The cremated remains of your loved one will be available at our Bennington location during our business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00pm.
Delivery of Cremated Remains
We will personally package and ship them using registered mail to any domestic location for an additional fee if you are unable to travel to our Bennington location.
Remains Scattering
The cremated remains may be scattered by our staff or the family anywhere in Vermont as local laws permit.
Basic Package: $1150

Payment
Payment in full is due prior to completing cremation rites. We accept cash, check, or credit card (Visa/Master Card, Discover, or American Express). We charge 3% fee for credit card payment. We accept insurance assignments for payment with a $200 processing fee.

- Shipping of cremated remains via USPS
- Mileage for out of county deaths
Important Notes
- Stateline Cremations DOES NOT offer memorial services. We will provide a private viewing for an additional charge. We provide a cardboard temporary urn and will transfer cremated remains into an urn if needed.
- We will arrange a convenient time to obtain the necessary information. If desired we can arrange to meet in the family’s home, our office, or by telephone. The proper next-of-kin or Illinois Health Care Power of Attorney will need to be available to sign the required forms and authorizations at that time.
